More progress on the correction set for the Italeri F/A-18C/D kit.  I re-mastered the WSO console, rear and front pilot control panels.  The set will include:

1. A complete cockpit with side panels

2. SJU-17 seats

3. New nose section with detailed gun/gas muzzle

4. Optional parts for single or two-seater

With the Academy kit now released, maybe this set, combined with the Italeri kit will be a lower cost alternative.  When it's available I'll try to price it so that the cost of the Italeri kit and my set equals the price of the Academy kit.  Italeri's kit available through MRC/Italeri website.

That looks sweet! Will it fit the Hasegawa F/A-18D kit as well?

This looks great so far. I'd love to see an ATARS nose to go with it. In fact, we could use all sorts of modern recce equipment like the F-16's DB-110/Raptor and TARS units

ATARS nose for the upcoming family model would be great! Received my AIM-9X, ACES and NACES seats over the last weekend. Based on this quality I see many more orders in my future! A decent, accurate AIM-9J/P would be a good move too! Think of all those Vipers which have been seen with these variants over the years. . . . .

More ideas. . . . I want to do some early F-15's (love the Air Superiority Blue ones!) and JAWS A-10's. How about a wide-fitting ESCAPAC seat? Most existing ones are narrow panned for A-4's and the like. . . i think Aeroclub's were wide panned but I have an inherent dislike of meta and etch!
After the Prowler tub, of course!

A good suggestion I have, how about saddle tanks for the blk 52+ vipers I'd love to see them in 1/72 scale.
Thanks again
